One click within Simulink to switch between FPGA, DSP or Simulation:
Design your top level application by connecting Simulink Blocks.  The ultimate in rapid development, flexibility and risk reduction.
Use blocks from the comprehensive libraries available or create your own. 
Default resource and interprocess communication management is taken care of for you. (Helped by 3L Diamond 'under-the-hood')  Comprehensive access to hardware resources is available if desired. 
Select from a pull down menu whether each block should run on FPGA, DSP or be Simulated. Only parts that have changed need recompiled. Fine tune your applications balance across mixed technologies and simply demonstrate answers to  those awkward performance optimisation questions.
